Frequently asked questions about painting work
A clean renovation coat (2 coats incl. primer) typically costs €8–14 per m² of wall area including materials and labour. With filling and smoothing it can be €15–25 per m².
Emulsion paints are touch-dry in 2–4 hours and can be overcoated after 24 hours. Fully cured after 7–14 days. Ventilate rooms well during this time.
Priming and filling can often be done alongside other trades. Final coats should be applied after all other work is complete, as dust can damage fresh paint.
We recommend shades that suit period architecture: warm greys, off-white or soft earth tones. For wet rooms we use silicone resin or lime paints that are breathable and prevent mould.
