Yes – modern air-to-water heat pumps work with flow temperatures of 55–60 °C and are therefore compatible with refurbished old-build radiators. The key is an individual heat-load calculation, which we carry out free of charge for you.
Through the BEG (Bundesförderung Effiziente Gebäude – Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings) up to 70 % of investment costs can be subsidised, depending on income and scope of work. We submit the funding applications on your behalf and coordinate payment.
The actual installation work takes 2–4 days. Including planning, permits and commissioning you should allow 3–6 weeks total lead time.
Ground-source heat pumps require a borehole, which we coordinate through partner companies. Air-to-water heat pumps only need a suitable outdoor unit – no excavation work required.
